Here's how to create Sanderson Sisters Felt Bookmarks:
STEP ONE
To begin the Free Printable Sanderson Sisters Bookmarks a Hocus Pocus Craft, gather all supplies. Y'all know that I love to doodle and draw, so I sketched this witchy trio up just concentrating on their iconic hair and lips. Then I grabbed one of my all-time favorite crafting supplies – KUNIN FELT! Felt is an easy, versatile, and forgiving medium that allows you to create affordable but trendy projects whether you are a beginner or an expert crafter. The craft cuts are 9″ by 12″ and run about 33 cents per sheet from the big box craft stores.

STEP TWO
Using a ruler, measure three rectangles that are 2” wide by 11” long on Cream Kunin Classic Felt with the MONO Twin Permanent Marker. Cut out all three rectangles with scissors, cutting inside the marked lines, so you have a clean finished project. I love, love, love the MONO Twin Permanent Marker from Tombow for all my hand lettering and drawing projects. It has a larger bullet tip on one end and a smaller fine tip on the other. Perfect for large spaces and small details!

STEP THREE
Download, and print the SANDERSON SISTERS BOOKMARK PATTERNS below ⇓ Roughly cut out the paper patterns with scissors. Using straight pins, attach Mary’s dress to the Ruby Felt, Winifred’s dress to the Pirate Green Felt, and Sarah’s dress to the Purple Felt along the 9″ length of the craft cut sheets. Extend the dress pattern by drawing straight lines with a ruler and the MONO Twin. Cut out patterns with scissors.
If creating with younger kids, you can also cut out all paper patterns completely, and then trace them onto the Kunin Classic Felt with the MONO Twin. Then cut out with scissors, cutting inside the traced lines, so you have a clean finished project.

STEP FOUR
Using straight pins, attach Mary’s hair to the Black Felt, Winifred’s hair to the Orange Felt, and Sarah’s hair to the Gold Felt. Cut out all hair patterns with scissors. I love that the Kunin Classic Felt comes in 51 fabulous colors to match any craft project you can dream up!

STEP FIVE
Assemble the bookmarks using the Cream Felt rectangles as the base, then attach the three dresses with E6000 Fabri-Fuse lining up the bottom edges. Next, add the three hair patterns to the top of the bookmarks with Fabri-Fuse. From E6000, Fabri-Fuse is an easy-to-use liquid fabric glue that retains elasticity even when dry.

Flip each Sanderson sister over and trim any excess cream felt with scissors. Any area where the cream felt is showing through on the front side of the bookmarks. Winifred’s collar and the top of Mary and Sarah’s hair.

STEP SIX
To finish the Free Printable Sanderson Sisters Bookmarks, use the pattern sheet as your guide and add each of the unique Sanderson sisters’ lips to the bookmarks with Slick Red Tulip dimensional fabric paint. Add a birthmark to Mary and Sarah with Slick Black Tulip dimensional fabric paint. Add stitching on the three dresses with gold glitter glue. Set aside to dry. I always use a piece of scrap paper to test the glitter glue and dimensional fabric paint before applying them to my craft projects. You want to make sure that the paint is flowing evenly with no air bubbles for a clean finished project.

How to Make a Hocus Pocus Craft Sanderson Sisters Bookmarks
Now I am off to conjure up some more fun and magical Hocus Pocus Crafts to celebrate the release of the second movie. It's undeniable that one of the most classic Halloween movies of all time is Disney's Hocus Pocus. The film has a little bit of everything for everyone: witches, spells, humor, zombies, and everything else that truly makes Halloween, well, Halloween. But if we're honest, one of the best things about the iconic film, starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, is the writing. If you’re anything like me, then you too struggle to let the spooky season go by without once belting out Winifred Sanderson’s “I put a spell on you,” or the many other memorable lines from the film that make you laugh. I am so looking forward to the sequel, Hocus Pocus 2, which is set to stream on Disney + this fall.

What is YOUR favorite part of the first Hocus Pocus movie from 1993? Mine has to be all of the classic and funny quotes. Here are a few of my all-time favorites.
“You hags! There are not enough children in the world to make thee young and beautiful!” —Thackery Binx
“Oh, look. Another glorious morning. Makes me sick!” –Winifred Sanderson
“Wench! Trollop! You bucktoothed, mop-riding firefly from hell!” — Billy Butcherson
“Let's light this sucker and meet the old broads.” — Max
“Tis the chocolate-covered finger of a man named Clark!” —Mary Sanderson
“Amok, amok, amok, amok, amok!” — Sarah Sanderson

Create everyone's favorite three witches using whatever craft medium you love the most. My crafty bestie Laura from Me and My INKlings has created this pattern that is perfect for cutting out fabric, felt, and paper. It could also be used as a template for painting, coloring, and drawing! This felt project is made with Laura's favorite felt from Kunin. It cuts so easily and never frays so is perfect for basic pattern crafts like this Felt Sanderson Sisters Hocus Pocus Craft.

The movie Hocus Pocus is so timeless, funny, and entertaining for the whole family. This adorable Sanderson Sisters Cauldron with Free Printable Quote is the perfect way to create a container that can hold candy, flowers, and all the fun Halloween things. Making custom stencils is such a fantastic way to get the exact desired look for projects. This one is hand drawn by Laura of Me and My INKlings so it is really personal. Anytime handwriting can be used, it is a great thing.
