Here's how I create Printable Kawaii Valentine Cards:
I always start out by measuring out my page, so I know how much space I have for each of the cards. Next, I sketch in the images and lettering for each of my Kawaii Inspired Valentine Cards using my MONO J Drawing Pencil 4H grade. Once I am pleased with the composition, I ink in the images and lettering with MONO Drawing Pens in .05 and .08 widths. The Cricut Bright Pad is my go-to for tracing directly onto my clean page, so there are no pencil lines to be erased.
Funny Kawaii Valentine's Day Cards
Next comes scanning and printing onto cardstock. If printing on an Inkjet Printer Water-based wet ink) I would suggest coloring with crayons or colored pencils. A Laser Printer (dry toner) would be best for coloring with water-based markers like Tombow Dual Brush Pens to prevent the images from smearing. Cut the cards apart with a paper trimmer using the guidelines provided. Then it is on to selecting a color palette, one of my favorite things EVER! I get out my Tombow Dual Brush Pens and some scrap paper and get to swatching. Once the colors are set, I created a finished color palette and label it with the project name, so I can file it away with the original artwork for safekeeping!
