Upcycle a Burlap Vase in just 15 Minutes!
All this week, I’m sharing quick burlap crafts that you can make in about 15 minutes, excluding any drying time.

Here's what you will need to Upcycle a Burlap Vase:
- Burlap Ribbon
- Parmesan Cheese 8 oz. Container – you know, the one with the green lid
- Fabric Scrap
- Buttons
- Scissors – I love my Fiskars!
- Tombow MONO Multi XL Liquid Glue
Here's how to create a Burlap Vase in 15 Minutes:
Step One
Thoroughly wash and dry the parmesan cheese container. Starting at the base, adhere the end of the burlap ribbon to the container with MONO Multi XL Liquid Glue. Wrap burlap ribbon around the container until covered. Cut and secure end with more MONO Multi.
Step Two
Cut a strip of fabric 1-inch wide and long enough to wrap around the container and tie in a knot. Trim with scissors and fray the edges. Attach decorative button with MONO Multi.
Step Three
Fill with flowers (and a fancy butterfly) and enjoy it! This Upcycle a Burlap Vase project was so quick and easy to create, that I made six to give as gifts to brighten my co-workers' Monday.
