Die Cut Bunny Treat Holder for Easter

Last-minute projects and sweets are kinda my thing, so I whipped up a dozen of these Die Cut Bunny Treat Holder for Easter dinner. I'm going to have the kiddos add everyone's name to a tag and tuck it right inside with a few Ghirardelli chocolate squares, which fit perfectly.

Here's how to create a Die Cut Bunny for Easter:

STEP ONE

To begin the Die Cut Bunny Treat Holder, cut out two of the Baby Food Jar Bigz Dies by Eileen Hull from the Little Sizzlets Matte Board in White using the Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

STEP TWO

Emboss all of the die cut matte board shapes with the Textured Impressions folder by Eileen Hull using the Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutting Machine.

STEP THREE

Cut two ear shapes from the scrapes of matte board, apply pink chalk to the inside of the bunny ears and the cheeks with the pom pom applicator. Attach bunny ears to the back of the top edge of the baby food jar front panel with Tombow Xtreme Adhesive. Assemble the front, back and sides of the baby food jar die according to the directions on the package with Xtreme Adhesive.

STEP FOUR

Cut three strands of black embroidery floss for whiskers and a small triangle from light pink felt for the bunny's nose. Attach to the Bunny's face with MONO Aqua Liquid Glue.

STEP FIVE

To finish the Die Cut Bunny Treat Holder, attach two black button eyes with MONO Aqua Liquid Glue, and then draw Bunny's muzzle with the MONO Twin Permanent Marker.
