Create a Terra Cotta Pot Frankenstein
STEP ONE
Gather all materials and then remove the packaging and labels. Basecoat the 2.5” clay pot with Foliage Green acrylic craft paint. Paint the clay pot saucer with Lamp Black acrylic craft paint. Let the paint dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. On the rim of the clay pot, paint a zig-zag border with black acrylic craft paint for Frankenstein’s hair.
I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

STEP TWO
Basecoat two small wooden finials with Slate Grey acrylic craft paint. Let the paint dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. These types of wooden shapes are available at the big box craft stores, but you can also improvise with supplies you have on hand.

STEP THREE
Glue two wiggle eyes on Frankenstein’s face using a glue gun and glue sticks. Cut a rectangle from black craft foam with scissors, and then glue on overlapping the wiggle eyes. Give him cheeks by dabbing a new pencil eraser in Bubblegum Pink craft paint and stamping on the right and left sides, just below the eyes.

STEP FOUR
Once dry, attach the grey wooden finials to the right and left sides of Frankenstein’s neck with a glue gun and glue sticks. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you would have to wait for it to dry.
To finish the Clay Pot Frankenstein, draw a mouth from cheek to cheek with the MONO Twin permanent black marker. Add a nose, and a scar or two with a permanent black marker.
