Create Jack-O-Lantern Terra Cotta Pots
STEP ONE
Gather all materials and then remove the packaging and labels. Basecoat the 2.5” clay pots with Warm Sunset acrylic craft paint. While still wet, add vertical stripes with Burnt Orange acrylic craft paint. Blend the colors with a paintbrush.
I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

STEP TWO
Glue two wiggle eyes on the Jack-O-Lantern face using a glue gun and glue sticks. Give them cheeks by dabbing a new pencil eraser in Bubblegum Pink craft paint and stamping on the right and left sides, just below the eyes. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you would have to wait for it to dry.

STEP THREE
Draw a mouth from cheek to cheek with The MONO Twin permanent black marker. Using wire cutters, trim one-inch sections from a tree branch. Add some hot glue to the end and insert the twig into the drain hole of the clay pot.

STEP FOUR
Wrap a green chenille stem around a pencil and slide it off. Cut the chenille stem in half and attach it to the side of the pumpkin stem with a glue gun and glue sticks.

STEP FIVE
Using natural jute twine, tie two small bows. Attach to the front bottom of the clay pot Jack-O-Lantern with a glue gun and glue sticks. Trim any long ends of the twine with scissors.
