Here's how to create the perfect teacher gift with FREE tags:
STEP ONE
To begin the Teacher Gift with FREE Printable Tags, download and print Pencil Tag and Crayon Tag from the file below onto heavy-duty card stock. I prefer bright white 65 lb. vellum card stock with a smooth finish. If coloring with water-based markers, like Tombow Dual Brush Pens, use a laser printer, so the black outlines remain crisp. If printing with an inkjet printer, use colored pencils or crayons for coloring in the images. Cut out both tags with scissors.
STEP TWO
Select the colors of Dual Brush Pens to complete the Pencil Tag and the Crayon Tag. Get the kiddos involved in this step and let them color in the tags for their new teachers.
STEP THREE
Hand letter the message for your teacher. I always use Dual Brush Pen N15 Black for all of my hand lettering projects. The brush tip allows for thin upstrokes and thick downstrokes. To make my printing more whimsical, I mix the uppercase and lowercase letters.
STEP FOUR
Remove the packaging from the Deflecto® Large Three-Drawer Organizer. Fill each drawer with school and art supplies that would be perfect for any teacher to share with their students. A gathered a selection of office supplies and art supplies from the Dollar Tree to get more bang for my buck.
STEP FIVE
To complete the Teacher Gift with FREE Printable Tags, wrap your gift up with a bow. Tie a black and white gingham ribbon around both sides of the organizer and tie in the center with a bow, and then add the tags with adhesive.
