Amazon Prime Days 2019 … it’s like Christmas in July! In fact, I’ve seen some deals on Prime Day that are better than Black Friday. And Amazon has doubled Prime Day to Days – Monday, July 15th AND Tuesday, July 16th! Which means two times the deals from last year! So, grab your coffee and a notebook and let's get SAVING!

Prime Days is an ideal time to snag great gifts, especially if you want to save money and plan ahead. It isn’t much of a surprise that the biggest deals will be on Amazon products. The good news is that Amazon is constantly adding new types of Amazon brand items so you can find great gifts in many different categories.

PRO-PRIME DAY TIP: If you know there’s something that you will definitely buy if it goes on sale, add it to your cart ahead of time. Especially if it is an Amazon product.

Whether you are getting gifts for birthdays or Christmas here are some gift ideas you will want to grab on Amazon Prime Days 2019.

Tech Gifts to snag on Amazon Prime Days 2019

Amazon has some amazing tech gadgets (I love them at my house). On Prime Day 2018 many of these items were discounted between 20-50%. Word on the street is that these discounts might be even DEEPER since current prices on some of them are already lower than last year’s Prime Day prices.

Fire Tablet: Great Gift for Kids

These tablets are amazing for kids because they are durable, have amazing quality and capabilities, and the kid versions come with a year of FreeTime. We LOVE Freetime! It gives access to great apps, eBooks (picture books too) and has amazing parental controls built in. You can even set it up so your child has to read for a certain amount of time before they can play games. My nieces and nephews use the Fire Tablets to watch shows, read books and play apps and we don’t worry about them accessing anything scary or inappropriate. Another amazing benefit is their guarantee. They will replace your Fire Kids Edition for 2 years worry-free! Broken screen? They’ll send you a new one!

Note: The older versions of Fire Tablet will most likely be on sale (like the one pictured above). The newest version is the Amazon Fire Tablet 10 which is currently priced about twice as much as the Fire Tablet 7. Of course, there are improvements (and bigger screen size) but if you are buying for a kid they will still love the older version!

Fire TV products: Great Gift for College Students/Grandparents/Seniors

If you have Amazon Prime, these Fire TV products like a Fire TV Stick (pictured above and voice-activated!) or Fire TV Cube will let you access Amazon Prime Video on any television and also other streaming apps like Hulu, Netflix plus tons of others! It is an affordable alternative to something like Apple TV. These are really simple to set-up and also travel well, I ALWAYS take mine on work travel and vacation.

Amazon Kindle: Great Gift for Kids, and EVERYONE who can read!

My Kindle is still my favorite gift I ever received. They are such a great gift for people who love to read. Amazon Prime Days 2019 is a great time to get these for a killer deal. Two of my nieces have basic Kindles and my brother is planning to upgrade my almost 10-year-old niece to the Kindle Paperwhite for her birthday. Spoiler alert, eBooks from the library save TONS of money and give the kids access to great books all the time. Luckily my niece’s birthday is in August so we can grab her gift on Prime Days 2019. Last year it was almost 40% off, woohoo!

Amazon Echo: Great Gift for EVERYONE!

There are a lot of different Echo devices and it can get a little confusing! In my brother's house, they have 3 Echo Dots (used in kids’ rooms) and an Echo Show. There are three other Echo devices we don’t have. The new Echo Show 5 (the device shown above…which is kind of in-between an Echo and the Echo show both price-wise and capability-wise). The Echo (a smart speaker that has better sound quality than the Dot but is pricier). The Echo Spot which they classify as a “smart alarm clock.”

Echo Dots are quite inexpensive and the kids use theirs for lots of things. Like to play fun games (Alexa has thousands of skills, lots for kids and some really fun educational ones), jam to music, listen to awesome bedtime stories, and to ask Alexa very important questions. My nephew calls his Mom's phone from his Echo Dot when she's not at home. And one of her favorite things is that she can make announcements to EVERYONE’S Echo Dots (time for dinner, time for bed!), from the Echo!

The Echo Show is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. I look up recipes, listen to music, play trivia while loading the dishwasher, listen to audiobooks, check the weather, watch Amazon Prime shows and “drop in” on my family. We can see and chat with each other, which is super fun! This would be an awesome gift for parents, grandparents and college students.

PRO-PRIME DAY TIP: Amazon usually does great bulk deals on Echos for Prime Day. If there are a few people who might like these on your gift list, count up how many you need and keep your eye out for bundle deals!

Smart Gadgets to snag on Prime Days 2019

Great gifts for YOU, dad, husband, boyfriend, parents, grandparents

Whether you grab a Ring Doorbell for grandma (pictured above) or a Smart Garage Door Opener for your husband (pictured below). If you haven’t tried an Alexa enabled device HOLY COW it feels like you are leaping into a new time! There are lots of Smart Gadgets (in a range of prices) that will be priced excellently on Amazon Prime Days 2019. Deals for Crafters/Makers to snag on Prime Days 2019

Last year there were some amazing deals on incredible crafting supplies. So if you have a crafter on your gift list or want to be able to DIY more of your gifts this year Prime Days 2019 will have the best deals of the year!

I’m expecting the Cricut Explore Air Bundle (this is what I have, pictured above!) and the Cricut Maker to be on sale again. I’m also crossing my fingers that the Cricut EasyPress (pictured below) will be on sale! And I use my Cricut Bright Pad every day when weeding and hand-lettering!

In past years I have seen crafting items such as: Tombow Dual Brush Pen Sets (This is my go-to set of lettering pens, pictured below) on sale. As well as, art sets, tie-dye sets, vinyl and accessories for Cricut and Silhouette machines, Brother Sewing Machine (This is the basic one that I have and use ALL of the time!). Gift a popular paint pouring set or my favorite Tombow Fudenosuke Rainbow Set. I can’t guarantee these particular brands will be on sale. BUT, I’ve seen them consistently on Amazon Prime Day and Amazon Black Friday for the past 3 years.

Deals for Kids to snag on Prime Days 2019

Three out of my six nieces and nephews have birthdays coming up after Prime Day (lucky me!). After carefully tracking the toy deals offered for the past three Amazon Prime Days and Black Fridays. I am pretty confident you will see these toys (or similar) available on Amazon Prime Days 2019.

Green Toys (like this Tea Set, made of recycled milk jugs…so durable and fun. We LOVE these!), Ikea Felt Play Food Sets, gaming accessories, Xbox Bundles (pictured below), play tunnels, Headbandz is my favorite game to play with the little kids and It's In The Bag is a hilarious game for teens, Melissa and Doug Toys are a classic, Remote Control Cars, and Drones (pictured above, for the older kids)!

There are historically quite a few different gadgets for your home for sale on Prime Day. From Robot Vacuums (and this one is Alexa compatible!) to popular Instant Pots (this is the one I have, pictured above) and trendy Air Fryers (This is the one I WANT, pictured below) even Blenders for smoothies and Toasters for that perfect bagel, Prime Day is a great day to grab that gadget for a gift (think weddings too!) or for yourself.
