• E6000 Fabri-Fuse Fabric Glue
• Tombow MONOTWIN Permanent Marker

• Scissors – I love my Fiskars!
• Pinking Shears for Fabric

Here's how to Upcycle Craft Supplies into Camp Banner:

WHAT IS OLY*FUN® FROM FAIRFIELD WORLD™?

Oly*Fun is one of the easiest, most versatile materials you will ever find and is ideal for holiday and event decorating, costumes, kids’ projects, and activities. It sews like fabric but cuts like paper with no frayed edges. You can sew it, glue it, staple it, pin it, or tie it. Write on it, paint it, embellish it, stamp it, or stencil it. You can cut it with scissors, a rotary cutter, or die-cut it. Available from the Fairfield World website, Amazon, or Wal-Mart.

STEP ONE

To begin the Summer Camp Inspired Banner, gather all supplies. Download, print and cut out the Summer Camp Inspired Banner Patterns below. Fold Oly*Fun in half and trace the large banner pattern onto a rainbow assortment of Oly*Fun material with the MONOTWIN Permanent Marker with the fold along the top edge. Cut out with straight scissors, pinking shears, and scalloped shears to give your project some added interest and fun.

STEP TWO

Trace the smaller banner patterns onto each of the rainbow colors of Oly*Fun material with the MONOTWIN Permanent Marker with the fold along the top edge. Cut out with straight scissors, pinking shears, and scalloped shears. Layer one small banner on top of one larger banner pattern, mixing and matching the colors and banner shapes.

STEP THREE

Gather all of the kids' craft supplies and spell out each letter of your banner's message with a different one. I laid everything out on my work surface and then went back in with glue. E6000 Fabri-Fuse Fabric Glue is perfect for attaching all of these different craft supplies to the Oly*Fun material.

STEP FOUR

To finish the Summer Camp Inspired Banner, cut additional strips of Oly*Fun material in one-inch by six-inch strips. Cut a four-foot length of black and white baker's twine, layer the banners over top, and tie colored strips of Oly*Fun in between for added interest and FUN!
