Here's how to create a Holiday Gift Tag with Kunin Felt:
STEP ONE
To begin the Felt Gingerbread Gift Tag Flag, gather all supplies. We were lucky and Laura already had the dies already in her stash, but think outside the box and use an actual gingerbread man cookie cutter for inspiration.
STEP TWO
Die-cut gingerbread man from Copper Canyon Kunin® Classic™ Felt using the Sizzix Big Shot and Bigz Die. Kunin Felt is easy to cut with the Sizzix Big Shot because you can stack 3-4 layers of felt and die cut altogether.
STEP THREE
Die-cut tag flags from Red, Pirate Green, and Hot Chocolate Kunin® Classic™ Felt using the Sizzix Big Shot and Bigz Die. If you don't have the banner die, cut the Kunin Felt Craft Cut Sheet in half horizontally, then cut out a triangle from the bottom.
STEP FOUR
Decorate the gingerbread man and flag with scraps of additional colors of Kunin® Classic™ Felt, scraps of trims, and buttons. I love using E6000 Fabri-Fuse Liquid Fabric Glue for all of my felt projects.
STEP FIVE
Embellish the Felt Gingerbread Gift Tag Flag with Anchor Embroidery Floss Spools stitched accents. Attach a wooden dowel to the center or side to create the flag portion of the tag. Use pinking shears to create a decorative edge.
