Summer is just around the corner, so let's create The Cutest Stuffed Popsicle with Kunin Felt. Y'all know that I LOVE Kunin Felt and creating ANYTHING with a face is just the most FUN. My favorite popsicle is a creamsicle, a yummy combination of vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet. Here's what you need to make a Stuffed Popsicle for Summer:

• Kunin® Classics™ Felt 9” x 12” Craft Cuts – Peach Chiffon, Light Pink, Sandstone, White
• Anchor Embroidery Floss Spools – 0336 Terra Cotta Light, 0392 Linen Medium
• Wiggle Eyes, Two – Dollar Tree
• Scissors
• MONO Twin Permanent Marker by Tombow – Black
• Straight Pins
• Embroidery Needle
• Needle Threader
• Polyester Fiber Fill
• Glue Gun and Glue Sticks

Here's how to create

STEP ONE

To begin the Cutest Stuffed Popsicle with Kunin Felt project, gather all supplies. I love the wide variety of colors that Kunin® Classics™ Felt Craft Cuts come in, plus felt is the perfect medium for beginner crafters because it is easy to cut and will not fray. Plus it is made from recycled water bottles, so it is great for the earth! Download and print the Stuffed Popsicle Patterns below ⇓ Roughly cut out the patterns and attach them to the felt with straight pins. Cut out all patterns with scissors.

STEP TWO

Thread 0392 Linen Medium onto an embroidery needle, then blanket stitch the two popsicle stick pieces together. To create the white “bite mark” carefully attach a 2″ length of White to a 7″ length of Peach Chiffon Kunin® Classics™ Felt with a glue gun and glue sticks. I like hot glue for this project because of the instant and permanent bond it creates with the felt. Straight pin the center strip to the front of the popsicle, lining up the white felt with the bite mark. Blanket stitch around the entire edge with 0336 Terra Cotta Light Anchor Embroidery Floss Spools.

STEP THREE

Continue stitching around the edge, incorporating the end of the white 2″ length in your stitches. Finish the center strip by carefully gluing together the edges of the White and Peach Chiffon Kunin® Classics™ Felt. Attach the back of the popsicle with straight pins and starting at the right-hand bottom side of the popsicle, blanket stitch around the perimeter, leaving a 2″ wide opening for stuffing.

STEP FOUR

Stuff the popsicle with polyester fiber filling, then stitch the opening closed by continuing the blanket stitch. Attach the popsicle stick to the bottom center of the popsicle carefully with a glue gun and glue sticks.

STEP FIVE

To finish the Cutest Stuffed Popsicle with Kunin Felt, attach two wiggle eyes to the top center of the popsicle with a glue gun and glue sticks. Cut two small circles from Light Pink Kunin® Classics™ Felt and glue them on as cheeks. Using the extra fine tip of the MONO Twin Permanent Marker, draw on a smile from cheek to cheek.
