Here's how to create Farm Animals from Craft Sticks
STEP ONE
To begin the Craft Stick Farm Animals, gather all supplies. Basecoat one jumbo craft stick with Petal Pink acrylic craft paint, one with Milk Chocolate acrylic craft paint, one with Titanium White acrylic craft paint, and one with Mustard Seed acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
STEP TWO
Using a small round paintbrush add random, freeform spots on the white craft stick with Lamp Black acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
STEP THREE
Download and print the FARM ANIMAL PATTERNS from the bottom of this post. Cut out patterns with scissors. Using the MONO Twin Permanent Marker, trace the pig ears on Baby Pink Felt, the cow ears on Black Felt, the horse ears and mane on Walnut Brown Felt, the chicken beak on Orange Felt, and the chicken comb on Red Felt. Cut out all patterns with scissors. Fringe the horse mane with scissors.
STEP FOUR
For the pig, attach pink felt ears to the back, two wiggle eyes, and a pink button snout to the front, under the eyes.
For the horse, attach the brown felt ears and mane to the back, two wiggle eyes, and a brown button muzzle to the front.
For the cow, attach the black felt ears to the back, two wiggle eyes, and a peach button muzzle to the front, under the eyes.
For the chicken, attach the red felt comb to the back, two wiggle eyes and the orange felt beak to the front. Add two dots at the top of the beak with the MONO Twin Black Marker.
Select buttons with 2 holes to look like nostrils. Use a glue gun and glue sticks for the assembly of all four animals. You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but you will have to wait for it to dry.
