Here’s What You Need to create a trendy Fringe Chandelier:

Here’s How to create a trendy Fringe Chandelier:

STEP ONE

Paint the embroidery hoops with dark brown craft paint, let dry. Attach fringe to the outside of each hoop with a glue gun.

STEP TWO

When creating a joint, apply a small amount of hot glue, let the glue set.

After the glue has hardened, cut with scissors. Then overlap fringe slightly to hide the seam.  This will also prevent the fringe from fraying and unraveling.

STEP THREE

Attach fringe to the inside of each embroidery hoop with a glue gun.  A double layer of fringe will create a full looking chandelier without any “bald” spots.

STEP FOUR

Cut four lengths of twine 18” long and glue to the 10” hoop at 12 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Cut eight lengths of twine 4” long. Glue four lengths to the 8” hoop at 12 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock. Glue four lengths to the 6” hoop at 12 o’clock, 3 o’clock, 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock.

Line up all three hoops. Glue the twine from the 6” hoop to the inside of the 8” hoop. Glue the twine from the 8” hoop to the inside of the 10” hoop.

STEP FIVE

Tie the four 18” lengths of twine in a knot at the top, then hang and enjoy!

NOTE:  If you prefer a more refined finished product you can use embroidery floss or ribbon instead of twine.
