Easter Topiaries from Moss Rabbits
STEP ONE
To begin, gather all supplies. Paint the outside of the three clay pots roughly with Titanium White craft paint and a dry paintbrush. Set aside to dry. I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

Paint the three wooden dowels with Dark Chocolate craft paint, then remove some of the paint with a baby wipe. Set aside to dry.

STEP TWO
Insert the wooden dowels into the bottom of the moss rabbits to create a hole. Remove the dowel, apply glue from a glue gun onto the top of the dowel, and secure it into the moss rabbit.

Attach a plaid ribbon around the rim of each of the three clay pots, securing the ends with a glue gun and glue sticks. Dollar Tree has such a HUGE selection of materials that can be upcycled and good quality craft supplies that won’t blow your budget!

STEP THREE
With a glue gun and glue sticks, attach one 1.25” foam ball to the bottom of each clay pot. Insert the wooden dowel of the rabbit topiary into the center of the foam ball and secure it with glue.

STEP FOUR
Tie narrow satin ribbons of assorted colors into bows. Trim any long ends with scissors, and then attach one bow to the neck of each rabbit with a glue gun and glue sticks.

STEP FIVE
Fill each of the three clay pots with green paper shreds to finish. This last step will cover the styrofoam ball and add to the Easter vibe of this cute craft.
