Hugs and Kisses Pretzel Treats with Laura Kelly Designs

Sharing is caring!

Now, I am not a baker by any means, but I love to create some quick and easy no-bake “recipes” like these Hugs and Kisses Pretzel Treats.  With just a few supplies and about an hour, you can make these fun treats and cute gift bags with the kiddos for Valentine's Day.  My new “Baked with Love” self-inking stamp created by Laura Kelly Designs for Expressionery is the perfect way to personalize my treats to create yummy gifts for family and friends!

Here's what you need to make Pretzel Treats:

Here's how to make and package Hugs and Kisses Pretzel Treats:

STEP ONE

Unwrap Hershey's Hugs and Kisses chocolate candies.  Preheat the oven to 200º.  Place mini pretzels on a baking sheet lined with a silicone mat about one-inch apart.  Top half of the pretzels with Hugs and the other half with Kisses.  Place in preheated 200º oven for 5 minutes.

STEP TWO

Remove the baking sheet from the oven with potholders.  Gently squish a red or white M&M candy into each Hug and Kiss to create the treats.  Set aside for approximately 30 minutes to cool.  Speed up the process by placing treats in the fridge for 10-15 minutes.

STEP THREE

While the treats cool, create the gift bag with tag.  Stamp Baked with Love self-inking stamp in the center of the white circle tag.  Outline and add hearts with Dual Brush Pen #845.  Tie a bow of bakers twine through the hole at the top of the tag.  Punch a scallop circle from black and white patterned cardstock.  Apply Foam Tape to back of circle tag, scalloped circle, and a white paper doily.  Layer together and attach the completed tag to the front of the kraft gift bag.

STEP FOUR

Once cooled, place Hugs and Kisses Pretzel Treats in a plastic zipper bag.  Fill the decorated gift bag with paper shred and place treats on top!

These treats and gift bags are quick and easy to make in an afternoon with the kiddos!  I LOVE the black, white, red and kraft color combination of the finished gift bag!  Change up the color of the M&M's candies to customize your pretzel treats for any holiday or special occasion.  What type of Valentine's Day treats do you like to make for family and friends?  Let me know in the comments below! ⇓
