Here's how to transform hand-drawn Doodles into Stickers:
STEP ONE
Gather all materials. Cut paper to one and a half inches wide strips with a paper trimmer.
STEP TWO
Draw doodles onto paper strips. Sketch first with pencil and fill in with the MONOTWIN Permanent Marker, which is my absolute favorite for doodling and drawing. It has a bullet tip on one end and a fine tip on the other for a variety of line widths.
If you don't want to draw your own doodles you can download and print my HAND-DRAWN EASTER DOODLES
STEP THREE
Next is the fun part – coloring! I selected a fun and bright combination of Dual Brush Pens and colored in the doodles. Since the MONOTWIN outlines are permanent ink, they won't bleed when colored. Score!
STEP FOUR
Feed the doodled and colored strips into the front of the Xyron Sticker Maker face up and gently pull through the back of the machine. Make sure the paper is straight going into the sticker maker for the best results.
The built-in cutter on the back allows you to tear off each doodle strip. Rub the clear plastic top liner with your finger and then peel away. Voila! A sticker created from a hand-drawn doodle.
STEP FIVE
Cut out the shapes with scissors. I decided to make the stickers on strips and then cut out the images, but you could definitely place images that are already cut out into the Sticker Maker.
Then peel the backing off and stick the colored doodle onto any surface.
I colored some medium size shipping tags with my Dual Brush Pens, added ribbon and then created personalized tags for the kiddos Easter baskets.
I love all of the possible uses for this Xyron® disposable Sticker Maker. They come in a variety of sizes in both permanent and repositionable adhesive. I carry this small one with me when I travel to add personalized stickers to my planner, but the uses are truly unlimited!
