Here's what you need to make a Dollar Tree Skeleton Bath:
- Poly-Fil® from Fairfield World™
- Dura Clear Iridescent Varnish from DecoArt
- Skeleton – Dollar Tree
- Plastic Tub – Dollar Tree
- Plastic Ornaments – Dollar Tree
- Paper Cups – Dollar Tree
- Wire Cutters
Here's how to create a Skeleton for Halloween Decor:
STEP ONE
Gather all of your supplies. Remove the caps from the plastic ornaments, wash the insides and outsides thoroughly, and then set aside to dry overnight.
STEP TWO
Once clean and dry, pour approximately 1-2 tablespoons of DuraClear Iridescent Varnish inside the ornaments. Swirl the varnish around until the entire inside of the ornament is covered. Tip the plastic ornament upside down and place it in a paper cup to drain out the excess paint and allow them to dry overnight. Any type of glitter, color shift, or iridescent paint will work for this project.
STEP THREE
Place a layer of Poly-Fil® in the bottom of the plastic tub from the Dollar Tree.
STEP FOUR
Using wire cutters, snip the plastic ring off the top of the skeleton's head. Arrange the plastic skeleton in the tub. Place the second layer of Poly-Fil® in and around the skeleton and then accent with the plastic ornament bubbles.
