Fantastic Beasts Niffler
A Niffler is a magical creature in the Harry Potter universe, specifically featured in the Fantastic Beasts films.
They are rodent-like with long snouts and black, fluffy fur, and are known for their strong attraction to shiny objects. Nifflers have claw-like hands and feet, love to hide sparkly treasures in their pocket, and are prone to mischief.
The most notable Niffler is Teddy, who belonged to Newt Scamander and frequently caused trouble with his treasure hunting.

DIY Niffler Craft Directions
To begin the Niffler Craft, gather all supplies. Download, print, and cut out the NIFFLER PATTERNS from the bottom of this post. Cut out the Niffler body and pocket patterns and pin them onto Black Kunin Classic Felt.
TIP: On darker colors of felt, you can also use a white chalk pencil to trace the patterns.

Trace the Niffler hands, feet, and face onto Cashmere Tan Kunin Classic Felt with the MONO Twin permanent marker.

Cut out all pattern pieces with scissors. Make sure to cut inside any traced lines for a clean, finished project.

Attach the Niffler pocket to the body with a glue gun and glue sticks.
TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but then add additional drying time.

Glue the Niffler hands onto the front edge of the pocket. Attach the Niffler feet to the bottom edge of the pocket, and the face to the head using a glue gun and glue sticks.

Cut the Niffler's eyes from the pattern sheet, and then cut two eyes from Black Kunin Classic Felt. Dry fit the eyes to the face and trim, if necessary.

Attach the Niffler's eyes to the face with a glue gun and glue sticks.

Using the pattern sheet as a guide, add the Niffler's nose, nostrils, and mouth with the MONO Twin permanent black marker. Add a highlight to the top right of each eye with white dimensional fabric paint. Set aside to allow the paint to dry.
