Lindsay and I traveled to Fredericton, Canada to see our dear friend, Debra, and spend a week crafting, walking, relaxing, and exploring the lovely Autumn season. One rainy morning we created a set of creature companion bookmarks from the book, and it was awesome!

Let's Make Animal Companion Bookmarks with Kunin Felt
STEP ONE
To begin the Harry Potter Creature Companion Bookmarks, gather all supplies. The complete supply list and instructions can be found in the book Harry Potter Homemade: An Official Book of Enchanting Crafts, Activities, and Recipes for Every Season. I love that Kunin Felt is available in so many colors and styles. Classic Felt Craft Cuts can be found in all the big box craft stores.
STEP TWO
Y'all know that I am all about sharing my free patterns, so I love that Lindsay has pattern pages in her book Harry Potter Homemade for a ton of fun and magical crafting projects. We traced the patterns directly out of the book to make our bookmarks!
STEP THREE
Kunin also makes a line of Presto Felt which has an adhesive backing on it. When working with small pattern pieces, it is perfect because you can trace your tiny patterns onto the adhesive backing paper and then cut them out. The MONO Twin is a versatile marker to craft with because it has a larger bullet tip and an extra fine tip, which makes it perfect for all types of applications.
STEP FOUR
Here is the finished ADORABLE Trevor the Toad who belongs to Neville Longbottom from the book Harry Potter Homemade. Neville's great uncle Algie used to own Trevor until he gave him to Neville as a gift from him for receiving permission to go to Hogwarts. Neville lost Trevor many times. For example, the first time he came to Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express, Neville lost Trevor but was soon helped by Hermione Granger who met Harry Potter and Ron Weasley during her search. Neville eventually found Trevor once reaching Hogwarts in one of the boats after Hagrid asked Neville about Trevor.
