Take the test and discover which house the sorting hat will place you in at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Whether you are a Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin, each house has unique colors, a mascot, and attributes that showcase your personality.

Craft Stick Scarf Craft Directions
Gather all supplies. To create each scarf, line up three sets of two jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Using scissors, trim additional jumbo craft sticks to width and attach with a glue gun and glue sticks.
TIP: You can use liquid craft glue for this project, but then add additional drying time.

The first pair of craft sticks remains whole and will become the neck part of the scarf. Measure the second set to 5” long, mark with a pencil, and trim with scissors. This will become a tail of the scarf.

Measure the third set to 3.5” long, mark with a pencil, and trim with scissors. This will also become a tail of the scarf.

With a glue gun and glue sticks, attach the 3.5” scarf tail to the center of the scarf neck at a slight angle. Glue the 5” scarf tail to the scarf neck, overlapping the shorter tail, at a slight angle.

Basecoat the Gryffindor scarf with Marigold acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
TIP: Use washable markers, crayons, or colored pencils to color the jumbo craft sticks.

Basecoat the Ravenclaw scarf with Slate Grey acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary. Make sure to get paint in all the nooks and crannies.
I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

Basecoat the Hufflepuff scarf with Cadmium Yellow acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary. Paint the edges of the craft stick scarf.

Basecoat the Slytherin scarf with Grey Storm acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary. You can also paint the back of the scarf.

Using a ruler and pencil, measure and mark the scarf sections into 1” wide stripes. This is easiest to do by starting at the rounded ends and working toward the base of the scarf.

Topcoat the Gryffindor scarf stripes with Deep Burgundy acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Paint on the Ravenclaw scarf stripes with Vivid Blue acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
Americana Acrylics from DecoArt have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

Topcoat the Hufflepuff scarf stripes with Lamp Black acrylic craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.
