Here’s what you will need to create an Owl Pumpkin:

Here’s how to make a No-Carve Pumpkin:

Basecoat paper mache pumpkin with Jack-O-Lantern Orange and while still wet, blend Burnt Orange into the grooves.  Paint the pumpkin stem Dark Chocolate.   Let paint dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. Americana Acrylics by DecoArt are rich and thick, giving one-coat coverage, which is why I prefer them.

Set aside for approximately one hour to dry.

  • This is adorable. So clever! Visiting from Gma’s Photo Generic linkup.

  • This is super adorable! A couple of years ago I made an owl while carving pumpkins, but it was in fact carved. I took the pumpkin seeds, baked them, and painted them to have different colors. I glued them around the eyes and for the wings. Thanks for linking up with Tell It To Me Tuesday, I hope to see you again this week!

    • OH, I love that idea!!
