Enter If You Dare Halloween Doormat with Oly*Fun

Sharing is caring!

Creating an Enter If You Dare Halloween Doormat with Oly*Fun from Fairfield World is a great way to let your neighbors know that your house loves Halloween!  Since Oly*Fun cuts like paper, it’s great for quick projects and crafting with the kiddos.  Weather-resistant Oly*Fun won’t fade in the sun or fray underfoot, so it's perfect for outdoor decor!  This post is sponsored by Fairfield World, but the ideas and opinions are my own.

Here's how to make a Spooky & Cute Halloween Doormat:

STEP ONE

Because Oly*Fun Craft Cuts are 30″ wide by 3 yards long, the roll comes folded in half.  Measure and cut a 36″ length of Jet Black Oly*Fun which is 15″ wide, folded in half.  Lay a yardstick across the short edges and cut one-inch wide by four-inch deep fringe through both layers of fabric.

STEP TWO

Tie each set of fringe into double knots along both edges of the doormat and then give a pull on the knots, individually to help them lay flat.

STEP THREE

Measure and cut a rectangle of Kiwi Oly*Fun 15″ by 30″.  Hand-draw letters onto the green fabric with a permanent marker to spell ENTER IF YOU DARE.  Cut out each letter on the inside of the outlines, so that you end up with a clean final project.

STEP FOUR

In a well-ventilated area (or outside) lay out some newspaper.  Flip the letters over, mist an even coat of spray adhesive and then attach, in order, to the black doormat base.

STEP FIVE

Smooth letters down with your hands to create a strong bond, making sure to spell each word correctly (don't ask me how I know this – HA!)

Creatively Beth apply letters to doormat base and you are DONE!
