Easy Stamped Lunch Notes for Back to School FUN!
School started on Tuesday of this week here in Florida, and I helped my niece Josie fill up her backpack and get her lunchbox ready. What she didn't see was me leaving some Easy Stamped Lunch Notes with her dad for some Back to School FUN! A few words of encouragement or a pun can brighten anyone's day, but especially a middle schooler. The EASY part is that I used Laura Kelly Designs line of Kindness Stamps, Papers, and Foils from Therm-O-Web. I am sharing today as part of the Team Creative Crafts Back to School Crafts Edition, so stop back by on Friday and Saturday to see all of the creative inspiration!

How to Stamp and Color Kindness Notes for Back to School:
STEP ONE
To begin the Easy Stamped Lunch Notes, gather all supplies. Select the images and sayings from the stamp sets, place the clear acrylic stamps into the stamp block and tap into black archival ink. Stamp the images and sentiments onto unruled index cards or white cardstock. I love matching up the Me and My Peeps kids images with the pet images. The images from the Kindness on Purpose stamp set pair perfectly with the sentiments.

STEP TWO
For the easy stamped lunch notes that don't have a coordinating sentiment, hand-letter custom messages with a Tombow Dual Brush Pen. I always sketch in first with a MONO Drawing Pencil to make sure everything is spaced and centered evenly. Ink in the larger words with the brush tip and the smaller words with the bullet tip of the Dual Brush Pen N15 Black. Erase the pencil lines once the ink is dry with a MONO Eraser.

STEP THREE
Next is the FUN part – COLORING! Add color with the Tombow 1500 Colored Pencils. I think that Laura's Kindness Collection of clear stamps is perfect for coloring. Add your kiddo's favorite colors to the easy stamped lunch notes to finish them up before you pack them in a yummy lunch.

STEP FOUR
Plugin and heat up the laminator. You don’t need a fancy laminator, this basic one from Scotch Brand is perfect. Layer the foil sheets colored side up on top of the coordinating toner papers, place them inside a folded piece of parchment paper and then run through the heated laminator. I always run it through twice. Once cool, peel the foil from the paper revealing the magic! The dry toner has bonded the colored foil to the paper. The Laura Kelly Designs Kindness Collection includes seven patterned toner papers and eight colored foils. Trim the foiled paper and attach the stamped DIY lunch notes with Therm-O-Web 3D Foam Squares.
