Here's what you need to make Monogram Zipper Bags
- Embroidered Letters – Monograms
- Zippered Pouches – these are colorful!
- Americana Acrylic Craft Paint, Lamp Black – DecoArt
- Basecoat Paintbrush Set – DecoArt
- Craft Iron
- Ironing Board
Here's how to create Zip Pouches with Monograms
STEP ONE
Monogram embroidered letters are also available in black, but white letters are dyeable and can be colored with paint, dye, fabric markers, and more to complement any surface you are personalizing. These large script letters are perfect for monogram pouches.

STEP TWO
Remove the embroidered letters from their packaging. Place the white letter on a piece of scrap paper or cardboard. Apply a coat of Lamp Black acrylic lack craft paint to the letter, then set aside to dry. I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.

STEP THREE
Once the painted monogram letter is dry, then position it where you want it placed on the bag. Iron onto the front of the zippered pouch with a mini craft iron according to the directions on the embroidered letter package.

STEP FOUR
Select the Embroidered Letter that fits best onto the zippered pouch and dry fit for the best position. Iron onto the front of the zippered pouch with a mini craft iron according to the directions on the embroidered letter package. Craft irons don't have steam holes.
