.

Here's how to create Boho Butterfly Kitchen Towels:

STEP ONE

To begin the Easy Butterfly Flour Sack Towels, gather all supplies. Have fun mixing and matching colors, fabrics, felt, and trims to create a fun and happy Boho vibe. Download and print the Butterfly Patterns below ⇓ OR create your own patterns with your favorite images. Owls, flowers, and hearts would look awesome on tea towels as well.

STEP TWO

Cut out Butterfly patterns and attach them to the Kunin Classic Felt with straight pins. Make one of each style of Butterfly from both colors of Felt. Cut out Butterfly wing patterns and attach them to the cotton fabric with straight pins. Make one set of wings for each butterfly from coordinating fabrics. This is a great way to use up scraps!

STEP THREE

Assemble the fabric butterfly wings to the felt butterfly bases using E6000 Fabri-Fuse Liquid Fabric Glue. Leave the body of the Butterfly plain felt, so it can be embellished. Set aside to allow the glue to dry.

STEP FOUR

Attach two Butterflies to each flour sack towel with Fabri-Fuse. Cut four, six-inch lengths of rick rack, fold in half and attach to the top of each butterfly as the antennae with additional Fabri-Fuse. Select bright and colorful buttons and attach them to each of the butterfly bodies with Fabri-Fuse.

    • I keep mine for decorative use only on the oven door. Yes, Rebecca, but I would wash them on the delicate cycle.
