Here's how to create a Christmas Bucket List
STEP ONE
To begin the Dollar Tree Christmas Bucket List craft, gather all supplies. Water down the acrylic craft paint and basecoat four jumbo craft sticks each with Titanium White, Country Red, Festive Green, and Mustard Seed. Watering down the paint will give the wooden craft sticks a stained effect. Set aside to dry.
STEP TWO
Paint the outside of the metal bucket with red acrylic craft paint. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary. I love Americana Acrylics from DecoArt because they have one-coat coverage on most surfaces.
STEP THREE
Download, print, and cut out the CHRISTMAS BUCKET LIST PATTERNS (at the bottom of this post) with scissors. Trace the belt pattern around the center of the bucket with a pencil. Paint the belt band around the bucket with Lamp Black acrylic craft paint and a flat basecoat paintbrush. Set aside to dry and apply a second coat, if necessary.
STEP FOUR
Trace the buckle pattern on the back of the gold glitter craft foam with a pencil, then cut it out with scissors. Attach the gold glitter buckle to the front center of the bucket with a glue gun and glue sticks.
STEP FIVE
Glue white pom poms around the outside top edge of the Christmas bucket. Secure the remaining white pom poms around the inside edge of the Christmas bucket with a glue gun and glue sticks. The Dollar Tree craft section is perfect for finding good quality arts and crafts supplies to get creative with the kiddos!
STEP SIX
Lay out the 20 painted jumbo craft sticks on your work surface. Write Christmas activities on craft sticks with a pencil, and then ink in with the MONO Twin permanent black marker. Use the holiday prompts on the provided list, or make up your own based on what is important to your family. The MONO Twin is a versatile marker to craft with because it has a larger bullet tip and an extra fine tip, which makes it perfect for all types of applications.
STEP SEVEN
Fill the bucket with white crinkled paper shreds. Insert the craft stick activities into the bucket and remove them as your family completes them this holiday season.
