Here's what you will need to Create a Woven Burlap Farmhouse Basket:

Here's how to create a Farmhouse Basket:

Step One

To begin the woven burlap farmhouse basket, weave the burlap ribbon through the wire basket slats. If you cannot find a burlap ribbon in the correct size, just cut down what you have and let the frayed edges show. I love frayed burlap, how about you?

Paint white button with Buttermilk, let dry.  This is one of my secret tips – if you don't have the proper color embellishment to add to your project then paint, ink, or color a white one, and your problem is solved!

Step Two

Trim burlap ribbon ends with scissors and glue in place.  Repeat with the second length of burlap ribbon.

Step Three

To finish the woven burlap farmhouse basket, thread bakers twine through buttonholes, tie in a bow and trim the ends. Glue to pre-made burlap flower and then attach to basket.
