Here's what you need to make a Vision Board:

Here's how to Make a Vision Board for Inspiration:

STEP ONE

To begin to Create a Vision Board, gather all supplies. I have general supplies listed above, but really anything and everything will work, it's YOUR vision board.

STEP TWO

This is the step I have never done before on a vision board, but it is so totally awesome. Laura suggests that you start with a foundation. Draw a shape, mine is a heart, and then fill it up with all of the “I AM” statements that you envision. And if you have been around here a while, you know how I love my Tombow Dual Brush Pens, especially the Bright Pack.

STEP THREE

Next, it is time to get cutting. Pull out those magazines, maps, brochures, old books and find the words within those pages that speak to you. I made a HUGE pile on my work surface. I even cut out a box of chocolates.

STEP FOUR

Now it's time to attach! Yes, you are going to glue all of the creative vision words that you cut out of the magazines directly over your “I AM” statements. The Tape Runner XL from Therm-O-Web works perfectly for this step. It is a permanent, refillable, and double-sided adhesive that works on all paper surfaces.

STEP FIVE

Keep cutting and attaching all of the inspirational vision words to the chipboard base. I love adding unexpected items, like envelopes, which can hide some of your most secret visions. Easy Tear Tape from Therm-O-Web is great at holding larger and heavier items in place. Tear off a piece with your fingers, apply the sticky side to your item, here I am using a button, then peel back the liner paper and attach to your vision board. Easy peasy!
