Sharing is caring!

Today I am sharing a Christmas Truck Snow Globe a 15 Minute DIY. Quick and easy crafts are kind of my thing, so when I can create something in just 15 minutes with help from the kiddos, I am super excited. My secret ingredient is from Fairfield World, one of my favorite craft brands. Scroll down to see how I made a waterless snow globe. I am so excited to be sharing today as part of the Creative Crafts Christmas Edition, so stop back by each day this week to see all of the creative inspiration!

How to Make a Snow Globe with Poly-Pellets:

.

STEP ONE

To begin the Easy Christmas Truck Snow Globe, gather all supplies. Basecoat the body of a wooden truck with Country Red acrylic paint, and let dry. Paint truck wheels with Lamp Black acrylic paint, and let dry. Basecoat windshield, back window, and hub caps with Slate Grey acrylic paint and let dry. Apply second coats of paint, if necessary. I love Americana Acrylics because they provide one-coat coverage on most surfaces, saving you time and money!

STEP TWO

Remove the screw-tight lid from your bag of Poly-Fil® Poly-Pellets® from Fairfield World™. Pour approximately three inches of Poly-Pellets® into the glass jar using the convenient spout. Poly-Fil® Poly-Pellets® from Fairfield World™ are plastic beads that are normally used to create bean bags, but don't you LOVE how they look like snow? Gather the rest of the snow globe supplies.

STEP THREE

Place the large, medium, and one small sisal bottle brush tree into the Poly-Fil® Poly-Pellets® from Fairfield World™, burying the wooden bases. Remove the wooden base from the second small sisal tree with wire cutters, and then glue it into the back of the red wooden truck. Add the red truck with a Christmas tree and the reindeer to the glass jar snow globe.

Screw the lid back onto the one-gallon glass jar and finish with a Christmas bow. I hope you will use my Christmas Truck 15 Minute Snow Globe project as a jumping-off point to showcase YOUR Holiday home decor. Since there is no water in this snow globe, it is quick and easy to make in just 15 minutes with the kiddos. Have each family member add their own items to create a personalized keepsake. For an even quicker Snow Globe, use this Red Truck Ornament instead of painting your own.
