I know this will be a controversial statement, but I love marshmallow peeps! My 5 Minute Felt Easter Bunny with a Funny Message project is half whimsy and half cheeky! When I came across these colorful Bunnies at the Target Dollar Spot, they were intended to be decorative chair backs. I thought they looked just like Peeps, so a snagged them in pink and purple. My teenage niece is all about sarcasm as her second language, so she came up with the funny sayings and then snagged the finished project for her bedroom.

Here's what you need to make Funny Felt Bunnies for Easter:
- Felt Bunny Shapes, Pink and Purple – These are very similar
- Embroidered Iron On Letters
- Craft Iron
- Pressing Cloth
- Ironing Board
Here's how to create Funny Easter Bunnies from Felt:

STEP ONE
To begin the 5 Minute Felt Easter Bunny with a funny message, gather all supplies. I found these felt bunny shapes with the fuzzy tails at the Target Dollar Spot, but you can definitely cut your own shapes from felt and add a yarn pom pom tail. Embroidered, iron-on letter sheets are the perfect way to personalize almost any surface.

STEP TWO
Pick your favorite sayings. Since these bunny shapes reminded me of marshmallow peeps, I picked two funny peep sayings. Pop the individual embroidered letters from the sheets and dry fit onto the felt bunny shapes.

STEP THREE
Once the messages are all lined up and straight, then iron the embroidered letters onto the felt bunnies according to the directions on the package. I use a craft iron because it is smaller for more accurate adhesion, and it doesn't have any steam holes, so the bond is stronger. Using a pressing cloth (a clean piece of cotton fabric) will prevent synthetic fabrics, such as polyester felt, from melting.

5 Minute Funny Easter Bunny
I hope you have enjoyed my 5 Minute Felt Easter Bunny with a Funny Message project as a jumping-off point to showcase YOUR Easter decor and creativity. Spend some time this weekend crafting with the kiddos and making memories. Get creative and let the kids make up their own messages.

Taking an inexpensive holiday item like these felt bunny chair covers and personalizing them to create unique pieces of home decor is what I like to call Craft Store Home Decor. I tried to keep the “OH FOR PEEPS SAKE” bunny and gift the “HANGING WITH MY PEEPS” bunny to my niece for her dorm room, but she ended up with BOTH!

I have a ton of Easter projects and inspiration on my blog. Check out my 5 Minute Colorful Easter Baskets created with supplies from Dollar Tree. Hello Beth. I don’t know if you have a cocktail ever, but: ice, 1 ounce whipped cream vodka, fill with orange juice and float a peep on top; purple is nice, but yellow looks good too. a bit of a creamcicle taste.
I love peeps too but I like them a little stale.
Have a nice Easter with your family.
I am making a bunny for my front door.
